BBQ Cook Off
The BBQ Cook-Off will be held April 19-20, 2024 in the Needville Youth Fair Parking Lot. Entries and the Release of Liability will be done online. The rules, entry link and release of liability link are below.
Each team will be provided with one approximately 40’ x 40’ space.
Teams will be allowed to start setting up Thursday from 5:00pm
to 9:00pm. Once the gates open Saturday, no motorized traffic in or out of the Cook-Off area will be allowed.
Teams will not be
allowed to tear down and move out
until after the event is
over
Sunday night at 1am.

Jr. BBQ Cook Off
The “Junior BBQ Cook Off Contest” will take place Saturday, April 20, 2024. This contest is for children under the age of 16 years (must not reach 16th birthday by April 20, 2024). All contestants must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times. There will be three divisions: Age 6 and below, Age 7-10, Age 11-15. Three prizes will be awarded for each division.
Entry fee will be $30 per child and will be open to the first 25 entries. Deadline for entries will be 11:00 AM, April 20, 2024. Entries received after places have been filled will be put on a waiting list. Entry fees are non-refundable. All entrants must complete a Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement.

Princess/Jr. Miss Pageant
The Pageant will be held April 20, 2024, at Creekside Christian Fellowship Church at 16628 TX-36, Needville, TX 77461. The contestant must reside in the boundaries of Needville ISD or attend a Needville ISD or Damon ISD school and be enrolled in Grades Kindergarten through 8th grade.
The Pageant Categories include:
- Princess Contestants - Kindergarten or 1st grade
- Mini Miss Contestants - 2nd or 3rd grade
- Jr. Miss Contestants - 4th or 5th grade
- Miss Teen - 6th, 7th, or 8th grade

Queens Contest
The Pageant will be held April 20, 2024, at Creekside Christian Fellowship Church at 16628 TX-36, Needville, TX 77461. The contestant must reside in the boundaries of Needville ISD or be a Needville High School or Damon High School student sponsored by a local organization, individual or business.

Youth Archery
Take Your Shot at our Archery Contest!
Online registration is open to all NISD students. On February 17th, if space is still available registration will then be opened to all other Fort Bend County Youth.
This contest is open to all youth 4H and FFA members within Fort Bend County. Youth can choose from two categories, Compound or Recurve.

Mutton Bustin
Mutton Bustin' will be held Saturday, April 27, 2024, in the Livestock Arena at 7:00 PM. Mutton Bustin’ entries will be accepted online from April 1, 2024 thru April 15, 2024 or until all slots and 5 alternates per division are received.
A complete entry shall include Release of Liability and Indemnity Agreement, Entry Fee and Birth Certificate. Age limits will be strictly enforced. All entry requirements must be met or the contestant will be ineligible to participate.

Parade
The Needville Youth Fair Parade will be held on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 10 a.m. downtown Needville. All parade entries must be made by 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 11, 2024. The entries should go to:

Your parade entries should be in position no later than 9:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, so that we can begin promptly at 10 a.m. The parade will turn right on Margaret Street and end at the Needville Elementary School.
